Russians bombed Kyiv using drones for the sixth time this month. The city authorities reported that mainly residential districts were attacked. One of the drones hit the side of an apartment building, injuring two people and damaging three floors of the building. Fragments of downed drones also fell in other parts of the city.
Information about the attack was provided by the mayor of the Ukrainian capital, Vitali Klitschko. In the evening, sirens sounded throughout the city. Loud explosions were heard.
Kyiv remains a frequent target of Russian bombing, but most of the missiles and drones are shot down by air defense. The raid, which took place from Thursday to Friday, is the first such situation in several months.

In the Solomyansky district of Kyiv, a drone hit a block of flats. A fire broke out in the building, but it was brought under control. According to the emergency services, there was an explosion in the block, which damaged many apartments on three floors.
At least two people were injured in the explosion. As Reuters pointed out, there is a maternity hospital just a few hundred meters away.
Vitali Klitschko reported that fragments of another drone caused a fire at a construction site in the Darnytsia region, located on the eastern bank of the Dnieper. No one was injured in the fire, and mainly building materials were burned.
In turn, the head of the Kyiv military administration said that fragments of a downed drone fell on an apartment building in the Holoseyiv region. No one was injured.

Recently, Russia has again intensified attacks on civilian infrastructure. On Thursday morning, the authorities announced a massive attack on 12 regions of Ukraine. Between 8 p.m. and 3:30 a.m., the Russians fired 35 Shahed drones into Ukraine.
The city of Nikopol was shelled by heavy artillery. Two women were killed, and one man was injured. On Wednesday, defense systems destroyed 18 of 19 drones launched. In Kharkiv, an S-300 rocket hit a trolleybus depot.
