According to Zelensky, something that until recently was an absolute fantasy will now become a reality. - This is a new quality of the Ukrainian defense industry - much more powerful - said the President of Ukraine in his speech.

Ukraine and the US will produce weapons together

Zelensky added that such a solution would provide a significant economic stimulus because it would create "companies and new jobs for both our nations - Ukraine and the United States."

The Ukrainian president also expressed gratitude to US President Joe Biden and his administration "and to everyone in America who values ​​​​freedom and supports Ukraine."

- This new perspective will make Ukraine more "resistant" to Russian aggression - added Volodymyr Zelensky. According to reports, Ukraine and the USA have signed memoranda of understanding on cooperation in the defense and industrial sector.

The Pentagon reported that from February 24 last year to August this year, the United States delivered more than two million 155 mm bullets to Ukraine.

On September 21, the United States presented a new military support package for Ukraine worth $325 million.
