Urgent evacuation orders near Russian border as Ukrainian Military warns of impending danger

Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev

"Every civilian should clearly understand that being near the border with Russia is dangerous. Military administrations decide every day to evacuate residents", writes Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev. The commander of the United Armed Forces of Ukraine has called on residents to evacuate from the northern and north-eastern regions of the country.

The general's appeal was published on social media. This is another piece of information from the Ukrainian military, calling for urgent action and urging residents to leave territories that are particularly at risk of further attacks from the Russian Federation.

"These hostilities could lead to the death of both civilians and military, the capture of people, and the destruction of entire border villages and towns. Every civilian should clearly understand that being near the border with Russia is dangerous!"
Lieutenant General Serhiy Nayev.

"Military administrations decide every day to evacuate residents from these areas, as well as from frontline settlements in the east and south of Ukraine. The war continues, and for the Ukrainian military to be able to conduct a full-fledged exchange of fire and destroy the enemy without thinking that it can harm our citizens, everyone, a conscientious Ukrainian, should listen to the advice of the military administration," he added.

Forced evacuation in the Kharkiv region

A few hours earlier, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, announced the mandatory evacuation of the population from the Kindrashivka and Kurlivka communes in the Kupyansk region. The decision taken by the authorities is related to the intensification of hostilities by the Russian army.

As reported, there are currently 3,043 civilians in the mentioned regions. Among them are 279 children. A special announcement published the contact number of the team that coordinates the evacuation operation 24 hours a day.

"Everyone was provided with accommodation and support from international humanitarian organizations. We call on residents to approach their lives and the lives of their children responsibly", we read.
