Ukrainians in Poland can receive aid in the amount of PLN 1,250

The “Lepszy Świat Association” has been supporting people with refugee experience in Poznań since 2005. The organization, together with Oxfam International, organizes aid for Ukrainian refugees living in Poznań and the surrounding area. Financial support amounts to PLN 1,250 and is transferred via the BLIK system.

What criteria must be met to receive financial aid?

Ukrainians who came to Poland as a result of the armed conflict and intend to stay in the country for at least 3 months may receive one-off assistance. Your chances of getting help will increase if you meet most of the following criteria:

• raise children on their own;
• have three or more children;
• there are disabled or chronically ill people in the family;
• you do not receive support from other humanitarian organizations;
• your family has a low income.

To receive help, complete the registration form by November 19. Organizers emphasize that registration does not mean that you will be selected to participate in the program. There are many people interested, but the number of places is limited. If you are selected to participate, you will be notified within two weeks of November 19. An SMS message will be sent to your Polish number.
