The leader of the Russians, Vladimir Putin himself, said that "military activities have escalated significantly" on the front line, but, contrary to the claims of his subordinates, stated that the offensive was repelled.

“The enemy has not succeeded in any direction of warfare. All counterattack attempts were stopped, the enemy was repulsed with heavy losses. The enemy suffers very heavy personal losses - over 200 people. "Unfortunately, there were losses, but the difference is huge, sometimes several times smaller than that of the enemy," Putin said.

How is the offensive progressing

The attack was confirmed by the 47th Independent Mechanized Brigade "Magura", which takes part in combat operations in this direction. When asked by CNN, they said our troops are advancing.
