The official admitted during a press briefing that he was unable to assess the credibility of the words spoken during the meeting between Putin and Lukashenko in St. Petersburg.

The dictator from Belarus argued that the mercenaries of Yevgeny Prigozhin's private army demanded that they “go on a trip to Warsaw and Rzeszow”. It was a suggestion of an armed Wagnerian attack on Poland.

According to Matthew Miller, the North Atlantic Alliance is ready to respond to any threats in its member states.

— This is another in a series of irresponsible comments by Lukashenko. I can only reiterate … that the United States will defend every inch of NATO territory he said.

Earlier, Antony Blinken presented a similar opinion regarding the defense of the Alliance countries.
