Great Britain supplied Ukraine with long-range “Storm Shadow“ cruise missiles

“Storm Shadow”, long-range missiles that were given to the Ukrainian military by Great Britain, are spreading panic among the Russians. In the opinion of the pro-Kremlin authorities of the Zaporizhia region, the Ukrainians used them to attack the bridge in occupied Berdyansk. Russian propaganda also emphasizes that Ukraine has “announced” an attack on the Crimean bridge using them. Just as before, the Russians saw HIMARS everywhere, now “Storm Shadow” missiles took their place.

On Saturday, a photo appeared on social media where you can see a Ukrainian Su-24 with two “Storm Shadow” missiles. These missiles have been spreading panic among Russians in recent weeks and are being “used” by Russian propaganda.

“Storm Shadow” missiles. Successful attacks by the Ukrainian army

On Friday, the Ukrainian army struck the port of occupied Berdyansk. After a powerful explosion, information appeared that Russian ships that had barely arrived at the port were fleeing from it. As stated, they were supposed to help the Russians export grain and metal from Ukraine.

Vladimir Rogov, the self-appointed head of the administration of the occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region, told the pro-Kremlin news agency Ria Novosti that the attack was most likely carried out with the use of “Storm Shadow” missiles.

Last Sunday, with these missiles, the Ukrainian army carried out a successful attack on the barracks in occupied Yuriivka on the Sea of Azov, which resulted in the deaths of about 100 enemy soldiers and more than 400 wounded.

The success of the Ukrainians was reported by, among others, Mariupol mayor's adviser Petro Andryushchenko via the Telegram service.

Russian propaganda threatens to attack the Crimean bridge

At the end of May, the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, was asked on television why the “Storm Shadow” missiles were not fired at the Crimean Bridge in the first place.

— Everything is ahead of us, you can't rush. Especially in such very important matters, for which you need to prepare extremely carefully to get a 100% result – he said.

Danilov's words were used by Russian propaganda to convey information that the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council “announces an attack with Storm Shadow missiles on the Crimean bridge.”
