A two-year-old girl was killed in Russian shelling in the Pidhorodne commune in the Dnipro region, said the head of the district, Serhiy Lysak. 22 people were injured, including five children.

The head of the district reported that two residential buildings are partially destroyed. Ten private houses, a shop building and gas pipelines were also damaged.
Air defenses downed two Russian cruise missiles and an unmanned aerial vehicle, probably an Iranian Shahed drone, in the Dnipro region, Serhiy Lysak reported.
“Russia has once again proved that it is a terrorist state” commented Volodymyr Zelensky.
The Ukrainian military managed to prevent an air attack on Kyiv that night. The head of the capital's military administration, Serhiy Popko, said that all missiles and drones flying to Kyiv were destroyed at a safe distance from the city. However, he did not specify their number.
The Air Force, in turn, said air defenses shot down 4 missiles and 3 Shahed drones out of 6 and 5 fired respectively.
The spokesman of the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuri Ihnat, later said that two cruise missiles with which the Russians attacked Ukrainian territory on Saturday night struck an airfield near the town of Kropyvnytsky in the Kirovohrad region, he reported on Sunday.
He stipulated that “for understandable reasons” he would not inform about the effects of the attack.
In addition, the drones that the Russians used during the attacks damaged infrastructure facilities in the Sumy region, the spokesman added.
