The prosecutor's office released photo evidence of enemy shelling of Nikopol

According to the investigation, on the night of January 5, 2023, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out artillery fire on the residential sector of Nikopol. Residential buildings, farm buildings, social infrastructure and power lines were damaged. This was reported by the press service of the Dnipro regional prosecutor's office, the Informator reports.

Due to the attack of the occupiers on January 4, a local resident was wounded in Nikopol, the man died in the hospital. 17 private houses of citizens, a car were damaged.

Prosecutors, investigators and experts are working at the scene and continue to work on fixing yet another crime of the Russian Federation. Under the procedural leadership of the Dnipro Regional Prosecutor's Office, a pre-trial investigation is carried out in criminal proceedings based on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
