On August 15, Ukraine's deputy foreign minister Yevhen Perebijnys received copies of credentials from the newly appointed Swedish ambassador to Ukraine, Martin Oberg.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

In particular, Yevhen Perebijnis noted the high level of bilateral political dialogue between the two countries and thanked Sweden for comprehensive support to Ukraine in its repulse against Russian armed aggression and defense assistance in the form of weapons and military equipment.

In turn, Martin Oberg confirmed Sweden's readiness to continue to support Ukraine and strengthen cooperation between Kiev and Stockholm.

The parties also discussed the practical steps of implementing the Ukrainian "peace formula", supporting Ukraine on its way to full EU membership, and exchanged views on the further development of bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
