The situation escalated further as the nearby settlement of the Marganets commune came under fire, first from barrel artillery during the night and then from rocket salvo fire systems in the morning of August 25.

In response to this grave violation of international law and humanity, Ukrainian authorities have taken decisive action. In connection with yet another crime committed by the army of the Russian Federation, a criminal case has been initiated under Part 1 of Article 438, specifically for the violation of laws and customs of war, according to the Criminal Code of Ukraine. This move underscores the commitment of Ukrainian authorities to seeking justice and holding those responsible for these heinous acts accountable.
Farm buildings and a private house were significantly damaged. In buildings, roofs, and walls were pierced by bullets, and windows were broken. The power line has been cut off.
