The ministers said, among others: about the future of cooperation between the countries, the start of talks on Ukraine's accession to the European Union, as well as the ongoing protest of carriers at the border.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski went on his first official trip abroad during the current term. The head of Polish diplomacy came to Kyiv, where he met with his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba. Radosław Sikorski in Kyiv. Emergency sirens sounded over the city

The choice of Kyiv as the destination of the new minister's first foreign visit was symbolic. Sikorski used it to emphasize Poland's solidarity and support for Ukraine in the war with Russia. This did not escape the attention of Minister Kułeba, who declared that it was a “sign of respect” towards Kyiv.

During a joint conference of ministers in Kyiv, anti-aircraft sirens sounded, informing about an upcoming attack. Sikorski then turned to Kuleba: - This alarm we are hearing now is the reason why I am here — he declared.

- It is completely unacceptable for a country to attack its neighbor and bomb cities, destroy entire provinces, deport children, and prepare to annihilate a neighbor who has done nothing wrong to it. In this titanic fight, Poland is on your side

- added Sikorski.
