Blahodatne, Makarivka and Neskuczne - these are three towns that the Ukrainians recaptured from the Russians from Saturday. The partisans from Melitopol also managed to blow up the bridge, which is important for the occupiers, connecting the Crimea with the Zaporizhia Oblast.

Volodymyr Zelensky admitted during Saturday's speech that “appropriate counter-offensive actions are taking place in Ukraine.” There was also the first information about the liberated towns.

On Sunday at noon, the media, referring to the announcement of the 68th independent brigade of them. Oleksy Dovbush of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported that Ukrainian troops had liberated the town of Blahodatne in the Donetsk region. The soldiers were also supposed to celebrate in the nearby village of Neskuczne.

Later, Hanna Malar, Ukraine's deputy defense minister, reported that nearby Makarivka had also been seized.

“So far, in the directions where the offensive is being conducted: in the direction of Bakhmutsk, our troops are continuing their assault operations. There is success in the area of the Berchovsky Reservoir. We have gained 250 meters. Makarivka have been liberated. In areas where our troops are on the defensive: no positions have been lost” she wrote on Telegram.

Activities around Bakhmut

Malar also said that “troops are continuing their offensive operations” around Bakhmut, which has been the subject of heavy fighting for months. The Ukrainians advanced around the Berchivka Reservoir northwest of the city and on two fronts to the south, in one case advancing as much as 1,500 meters.

Moscow has not yet confirmed the fall of any of the mentioned towns, instead talking about repelling Ukrainian attacks in the region.

Blowing up the bridge

On Sunday evening, Ukrainian partisans blew up a railway bridge in Yakymiwka in the Zaporizhia region. The facility connected the occupied Crimea with the Russian-controlled part of the Zaporizhia Oblast. The success of this mission means that the Russian army has been cut off from supplies of ammunition from the peninsula.

The news of the partisans carrying out the mission was confirmed by Colonel Anatoly Sztefan ps. “Stirlitz”.

“In the settlement of Yakymivka in the Zaporizhia region, partisans from the city of Melitopol blew up a railway bridge. It is a logistics artery through which anti-aircraft supplies from the Crimean enemy were carried”.

The Russian Defense Ministry said on Sunday that one of its ships in the Black Sea was attacked by six unmanned boats.
