The Russians are so afraid of losing the temporarily captured Ukrainian city of Bakhmut that they are sending their best units there. Ukrainian border guards destroyed the Russian dugout near Bakhmut

Near Bakhmut, Ukrainian border guards destroyed a dugout together with Russian soldiers. This was reported by the State Border Service of Ukraine on Facebook.

“Effective and effective work of aerial reconnaissance and mortars: the border guards destroyed the dugout with the occupiers near Bakhmut. At least 4 invaders were eliminated,” the DPSU said in a statement.

Russian losses in Bakhmut are colossal. At the end of May, US President Joe Biden reported that the occupiers had lost a total of more than 100,000 soldiers in the battles in the Bakhmut direction.

“For example, Bakhmut. There is a question – whether it was lost or not. And the truth is that more than 100,000 Russians were lost in Bakhmut. It is very difficult to compensate. Bakhmut is a devastated city,” said the American leader, speaking at the G7 summit in Japan, reports “Suspilne”.

However, according to the military analyst Oleksiy Hetman, there are no obstacles to losses for the Russians.

“Emotional component, critical losses – for the Russian army, such concepts do not exist at all. They will stay there until they receive a command to withdraw or until they are destroyed. If they try to withdraw on their own, without surrendering to us, but simply leave their positions, there are barricades that will simply shoot them. They understand this perfectly, so there will be no waste,” he said on July 12, on the air of the FREEDOM TV channel.
