Pakistan and Iran Exchange Retaliatory Strikes

Pakistan carried out a series of bombings in Iran, purportedly in retaliation for earlier attacks by the Iranian army on Pakistani territory, resulting in the deaths of minors. Tehran reportedly targeted locations in three different countries within two days.

Near East. The situation is getting worse

On the night from Wednesday to Thursday, the Pakistani army launched attacks on Iranian territory. Prior to this, the Pakistani side confirmed that Iran had "violated the country's airspace," causing the death of two children and injuring three others. The government in Islamabad labeled the attack as an "unprovoked assault" on the country's territory.

In the Near East, the situation is escalating. An anonymous Pakistani official quoted by AFP stated, "I can officially confirm that we have carried out strikes against armed anti-Pakistani groups based in Iran."

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in an official statement, announced that the intelligence agencies' attack aimed to combat "terrorizing individuals". It was emphasized that Pakistan "fully respects Iran's sovereignty and territorial integrity".

Iran's IRNA news agency reported that the explosions occurred in the Sistan-Balochistan province in the southeast of the country. The incident allegedly resulted in the death of three women and four children in a border village.

Iran attacks a third country. There is retaliation

Iran conducted attacks in three countries within two days. On Monday, it targeted locations in Syria and Iraq, and on Tuesday in Pakistan. Islamabad deemed the incident regarding its territory “completely unacceptable” and warned of “serious consequences”.

The commander of Iran's IRGC air defense base, Khatam al-Anbiya, announced plans for large-scale military exercises in southeastern Iran, near Pakistan.
