Successes of the Ukrainian counteroffensive in Bakhmut. Significant Russian losses

The Armed Forces of Ukraine announce further successes at the front. According to the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, combat missions in the vicinity of Bakhmut have been successfully carried out in the last hours.

153 invaders were destroyed in this direction during the day, 203 were wounded, and six were taken prisoner. Two self-propelled artillery installations, an anti-tank missile complex and four UAVs were destroyed.

A moment earlier, on the Telegram channel, the commander of the Land Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, General Oleksandr Syrskiy, confirmed that Ukrainian troops are focusing their activities in the north and south of the Bakhmut area.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the Defense Forces continue their attack. The enemy breaks out of positions on the flanks of the city, and Ukraine regains control over its territories.

Decisive attack in Bakhmut

According to military expert Oleksandr Kovalenko, the Bakhmut direction is currently one of the priorities for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The units gathered there conduct offensive operations that are successful.

Ukrainian troops may be in possession of intelligence data regarding urgent movements of Russian troops in the city itself and in the vicinity. Let's not forget that the Russians, due to the situation with Yevgniy Prigozhin, rotated troops to stop the Wagnerian troops and secure strategic supply points in Russia.

After all, what is currently developing around Bakhmut is not only the north-west and south-west sectors, but also the city itself. The Defense Forces of Ukraine started interesting activities, which began to restore positions in the city under its control. I think we'll have more details in the near future, but the trend is very positive.

If the Armed Forces of Ukraine have enough people and equipment to perform a maneuver strike, they may decide to do so. Let us remember that situations such as the one with Prigozhin certainly had a depressing effect on Russian soldiers and could also significantly lower their morale.
