Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine put a blue and yellow flag on the left bank of the Kherson region

The Ukrainian flag was raised by soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the left bank of the Dnieper in the Kherson region.

According to the Kherson edition of “Fog”, a blue and yellow flag of Ukraine appeared over the buildings of the Dachi settlement, which is now a “gray zone”, and a video of the raising of the flag.

On one of the buildings in the "Shlyahovik" Horticultural Cooperative, the military noticed a mast with a Ukrainian trident and decided to raise the flag on it. Soldiers Andriy and Ivan raised the flag under the anthem of Ukraine.

They wanted to make it clear to the Russian occupiers that they had invaded Ukrainian lands that would eventually be freed from the invaders.

"On the left bank, near Oleshok, our soldiers solemnly raised the flag of Ukraine with the national anthem," journalist Kostyantyn Ryzhenka is quoted as saying.

Between Antonivka and Oleshka there are huts with the flag of Ukraine flying over them. According to Ivan, who was hoisting the flag, there is the Antoniv Bridge behind them. It connects both banks of the Dnipro river. The bridge was destroyed during the occupation of Kherson last fall.
