Russians ready to attack Kharkiv. Experts have announced the date

On January 15, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation may launch a massive attack on the Kharkiv Oblast. According to experts, preparations for the offensive have been underway for several days, including regular shelling of the city of Kharkiv.

Information about the opening of a new direction was provided to The Telegraph journalists by an anonymous source close to the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As explained, the latest attacks on January 3 and 4 were part of Russia's preparations for a large-scale offensive, expected to begin in the coming days.

"There is a date - Before the offensive, military facilities throughout the region were bombed all day," said an anonymous source to The Telegraph. At the same time, it was emphasized that attacks could be deliberately silenced moments before the storm.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Sinegubov, reacted to the media reports and emphasized that there are currently no signals indicating the gathering of large Russian troops.

"To talk about any offensive or enemy plans, they must concentrate their military units in one direction or another. Currently, there is no such concentration. However, the situation may change every minute, and of course, we are monitoring it closely"

Ukrainian Expert: We are prepared

In an interview with the TSN.ua portal, Ukrainian military analyst Colonel Petro Chernyk emphasized that, according to official data, there is no information about significant forces gathered in the vicinity of the Kharkiv region.

"Even if they resort to an offensive, it is only possible in infantry mode. The best equipment they currently have is concentrated on the eastern bridgehead and has only one goal: to reach the administrative borders of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. I do not rule out that this will not happen, but it is absolutely unwise and inappropriate to overestimate this information, which is already a disaster," he said.

According to the expert, the Russians must be aware of the engineering preparation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which have been fortifying and mining the area for many months.

"If they dare, we will welcome them on our lands. Once again, I do not rule out such a possibility, but there is no reason to boast that this is a serious operation that can turn the tide of the war", he added.
