Russian occupiers shelled Nikopol and Marganets on August 14: the police record another crime of the Russian Federation

Genocide in Ukraine. Tonight, August 14, Russian troops twice covered Nikopol with gunfire and shelled Marganets with MLRS. The police continue to record the next crimes of the Russian Federation against the civilian population. This was reported by the press service of the Nikopol district police department.

In Nikopol, high-rise buildings and private houses, farm buildings, a school, a supermarket and a store were damaged. The gas pipeline and power lines were damaged.

In Marhanka, private houses and the power grid were damaged. The final information on destruction, damage and victims is being clarified.

Bomb technicians and law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the events, documenting the consequences of the shelling. Based on these facts of Russian aggression against the civilian population of the Nikopol district, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
