Russia's attack on the power grid caused damage to Naftogaz's facilities

Russia continues to shell critical infrastructure. The Russian attack on Ukraine's energy facilities on March 22 was the largest ever. Two days later, they targeted facilities in the west, including damaging property of NAK Naftogaz of Ukraine.

The consequences of the attack

DTEK reports emergency shutdowns by order of NEC Ukrenergo in Dnipro and Donetsk regions. In Odesa region, stabilization shutdowns are partially taking place, the shutdown schedule can be found on the website of DTEK Odesa Electric Networks.

Preventive substation outages have been applied in Poltava region and an emergency outage schedule has been introduced for all 10 queues. The situation is under control, reports the head of the OVA Filipp Pronin. Energy workers are already working to restore power supply.

Environmental consequences
