Russia shelled the cities of Zaporizhia and Nikopol in southern Ukraine

In Zaporizhia, Russian shelling injured two children.

Russian forces shelled the city of Zaporizhia on Monday evening, and in the early hours of the morning also the city of Nikopol in southern Ukraine. In Zaporizhia, a Russian fire injured several people and damaged several houses, Anatoly Kurtiev, a representative of the local city council, told the Telegram platform.

According to him, three people were hospitalized, including two children: a 9-year-old and a 15-year-old.

In Nikopol, according to the governor of the Dnipro region, Valentyn Reznychenko, a dozen houses, as well as many power lines and gas pipelines, were damaged as a result of shelling. Reznichenko also reported that at least 15 shots hit the suburban villages of Nikopol, namely Marhanec. However, no casualties or injuries were reported at these locations.
