Today, July 27, there was an explosion in Zaporizhia. An air alert has been declared in the city and region. In addition, the sirens operated in the Sumy, Poltava, Kharkiv, Dnepropetrovsk and Donetsk regions. Surveillance channels noted that the Russians probably fired ballistic missiles.

Yuri Malashko, head of the Zaporizhzhia OVA, later reported about an enemy missile attack. According to him, there was no information about the victims.

Recall that the last Russian invaders attacked Zaporizhia on the night of July 15, as a result of which a man was injured, an infrastructure facility, 16 skyscrapers, two educational institutions and a hospital were damaged.

Russia attacked Ukraine at night with drones and missiles

Russia continues to shell other territories. On the night of July 27, the occupiers launched drones and assault missiles from the southeast. All attacking drones were destroyed by air defenses.

In total, two launches of Kalibr from a submarine in the Black Sea region and eight Iranian Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk direction were recorded, the Air Force reported.

And on July 26, Russia attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles. He directed them to the Khmelnitsky area, the target of the rocket attack was Starokostyantiniv. Ukraine's air defense forces managed to destroy 36 missiles, said Yuri Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Don't ignore airborne alarms

Meanwhile, the Air Force warns of possible repeated enemy attacks in the coming days. Therefore, Ukrainians are urged to react quickly to information about a potential threat.

This was reported by the spokesman for the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yuri Ignat. He appealed to the Ukrainians to stay in shelters during the anti-aircraft alert. He says that the occupiers will intensify the activity of their aviation in the south-eastern direction when the weather conditions are favorable.

“There is a boost for our air defense system. It will be directed to where it is most needed now,” the head of state announced on the official Telegram channel.
