On the night of November 21, explosions occurred in Volhynia. Air defense forces were activated in the region during a bomb alert. This was announced by the head of the Volyn Regional Military Administration, Yuri Poguliajko.
According to military reports, Shahed-type drones were shot down in Volhynia
he wrote.
According to Yuri Poguliajko, there were no casualties as a result of the explosion in Volhynia.
According to Air Force spokesman Yuri Ignat, Russia is constantly changing its tactics for using combat drones. If previously they were activated during the day, they later began to do so at night to make them more difficult to detect visually. He also noted that the new modification of the Shahed attack drone is more difficult to detect.
Now we have news that Iran is producing a new Shahed with a jet engine and different radar guidance. There are various options. This Shahed is very reactive. It is painted matte black, which could further complicate the work of visual detection. I don't know if Russia will accept them, but these countries have such experience
Ignat said during the Ukrainian telemarathon.
