The statement of the Romanian Ministry of Defense confirmed media reports about another Russian aircraft that could have crashed on the territory of the country. As in previous cases, this would be a consequence of the shelling of the Odesa Oblast in Ukraine.

"The crew of the IAR 330 Puma helicopter, belonging to the Romanian Air Force, identified on Wednesday around 11.30 a.m. in the area of Nufaru and Victoria in the Tulcea district, fragments of an object that may be a drone," the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.

"The remains scattered over an area of several dozen meters," it was written.

At the same time, it was emphasized that the crew of another helicopter with a specialized team on board was sent to the site. Experts are to take samples and initially determine how the fall occurred.

"Keep calm! Take shelter in the basement!"

In connection with another Russian unmanned aerial vehicle found, the Romanian authorities decided to send special messages to the residents of the city of Galač.

"There is a possibility of objects falling from the airspace. Stay calm! Take shelter in basements or civil protection shelters. If there is no such shelter, stay at home, away from windows and external walls. Estimated duration: 90 minutes," the alert wrote.

Although the authorities did not provide detailed information about the specific threat, experts do not doubt that the local army had information about possible shelling of ports located on the Danube River.

Previously, the Russian army repeatedly launched attacks on the ports of Reni and Izmail.
