The official reason is to overcome the effects of the Russian bombing of Kakhovskaya HPP. But for this kind of work, chemical equipment is not needed. In addition, so far no actions on the part of the Russians aimed at eliminating the effects of their terrorist attack have been observed.

Ukrainian military intelligence warns that the aggressor wants to carry out another terrorist attack. They say that the Russian army mines the Crimean Titan factory: they plant explosives in and around the factory.
