Poland donated an additional 5,000 starlinks to Ukraine. Where the terminals will be installed?

Ukraine received another 5,000 starlinks from the Polish government. Some terminals will be sent to ensure uninterrupted communication in the front areas. The terminals will also receive critical infrastructure. The Ministry of Digital Transformation and Ukrzaliznytsia SA are also testing the use of Starlink satellite communication terminals in Ukrainian trains.

Ukraine received another 5,000 stars from the Polish government. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Statistics, Mykhailo Fedorov.

According to him, some terminals will be sent to ensure uninterrupted communication in frontline areas. The terminals will also receive critical infrastructure, Fedorov wrote on Telegram.

The Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation also noted that today approximately 47,000 starlinks works in Ukraine.

Poland provided the most terminals - a total of 19.5 thousand.

Some of them entered the Invincibility Points. Thanks to this, thousands of Ukrainians were able to use high-quality Internet and stay connected even during power outages.

Starlinks may appear on Ukrainian trains

And these are not all innovations. The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine together with Ukrzaliznytsia SA are testing the use of Starlink satellite communication terminals in Ukrainian trains. Experts said that this will provide Ukrainian Railways with a high-quality connection on 97% of the route.

By the end of the year, Starlinks plans to be equipped in 16 Intercity+ trains.
