Night shelling of Ukraine: five regions attacked. Sevastopol didn't sleep either

This night, Russian troops attacked the south, east, and parts of central Ukraine. As a result of the shelling, two residents of the Kherson Oblast were killed and damage was also caused. The air defense forces managed to shoot down all enemy missiles and most of the drones. It was also a restless night in temporarily occupied Sevastopol.

As a result of the shelling of the Kherson Oblast, there are deaths and injuries, said the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin. A 72-year-old man died as a result of the attack on Kherson. Another person was injured and was treated at the scene.

Tenants attacked a private house in the Bialozersk commune. As a result of the incident, the woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries, and her husband was taken to hospital in a moderate condition. As Prokudin added, Olhivka also came under fire. A 63-year-old woman was injured. She was hospitalized.

Yesterday evening around midnight, Russian occupiers shelled the city of Vovchansk in the Kharkiv region. According to Oleg Sinegubov, head of OVA, the house, and an outbuilding were damaged. No casualties.

“Drones also attacked the Snigurov community,” Vitaly Kim, head of Mykolaiv OVA, wrote in a telegram. The shock wave damaged nearby buildings. There are no casualties.

In Odesa, a hit to Vylkovo's recreational infrastructure was reported. As a result, a fire broke out, but rescuers quickly extinguished everything, the local administration reported. Izmail District was also attacked by the Russian Federation. Ukrainian air defense forces destroyed a total of 11 attack drones over the Odesa region.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that the village of Zarichne in the Zaporizhia Oblast also came under enemy fire that night. There, a fire in a closed poultry farm building covering an area of ​​60 square meters was extinguished.

Explosions resulting from air defense operations were also heard in the Khmelnytsky Oblast.

Air defense forces shot down all enemy missiles and most of the drones

The press service of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on the night of September 18, 2023, Russian troops attacked Ukraine with attack UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 and Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 types air cruise missiles. 24 "Shakheds" were recorded flying from two directions: (Primorsko-Akhtarsk - Russian Federation and Cape Chauda - TOT Crimea). 18 of them were shot down.

17 cruise missiles were fired from Tu-95MS strategic bombers from the Volgograd region. All 17 of them were destroyed.

Explosions were heard in Sevastopol

There was also a restless night in the territory of temporarily occupied Crimea. Local publications reported that the Cape Fiolent area was noisy. According to a Krym.Realiya correspondent, the windows shook from the explosion. Later, repeated explosions were reported.

Debris from a downed drone fell on a farm in Sevastopol, Mykhailo Razvozayev, the city's Russian-appointed "governor," said on his Telegram channel.
