The air force command in Kyiv announced on Sunday morning that the Ukrainian air force shot down eight Iranian-made Shahed strike drones and three Kalibr cruise missiles during a night attack by Russian troops.

The Russians attacked Ukraine with drones from the southeast, and the attack with the use of Kalibr was carried out from ships in the Black Sea. Five civilians, including three children, were injured in the Kherson Oblast in southern Ukraine in the past day, the Kherson Military District Administration said. The regional authorities also announced that three people were injured in the Zaporizhia region, two in the Kharkiv region and one in the Kyiv region. Previously, no casualties were reported.
