Night attack by the Russian: there was an attack on energy infrastructure

On the night of November 18, the Russian military attacked Ukraine using drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, 38 attack UAVs were registered in the airspace. The air defense forces managed to shoot down 29 "Shahed-136/131" attack drones.

It was reported that “Shahed” attacked in several waves, in groups, in various regions of Ukraine, in the areas under the responsibility of all air commands of the Air Force.

Impacts on infrastructure facilities were reported

One drone was destroyed in the airspace of Odessa Oblast. An energy infrastructure facility was hit in the Odessa Oblast, according to the Southern Defense Forces.

The administration building was damaged. A fire broke out and was quickly brought under control. One of the civilian workers was injured and taken to hospital.

The Russian military fired 8 drones in Zaporozhye, 4 of them were destroyed. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in infrastructure facilities. There was no information about any casualties.

Second drone attack on Kyiv in a month

That night, the Russian army tried to attack the capital of Ukraine. The Kyiv City Military Administration writes that enemy drones were launched from the south. To reach the capital, the Russian Air Force covered a difficult route of almost 1,000 km.

The launch of "MiG" aircraft should not paralyze the country

Air alerts are often announced throughout Ukraine in connection with the launch of Russian MiG-31s, which may be carriers of the "Kinjal" missile. Due to the possibility of refueling in the air, the alarm lasts for hours, which prevents the operation of state institutions, kindergartens, schools, etc.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, ordered the Ministry of National Defense, the General Staff and the Cabinet of Ministers to propose a solution so that the flights of "dagger" carriers would not paralyze the country for many hours. This was stated by the state leader after Stavka and in an evening video message.
