The armed forces of Ukraine continue to hold back the Russian offensive on the outskirts of the city of Maryinka. 18 combat clashes were recorded there during the day.

"As a feature, we note the increase in the intensity of the enemy's assaults in Maryinka. These are assaults by "Storm-Z" units with the use of armored groups, especially in the Oleksandrivka - Maryinka direction" noted the spokesman of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction, Captain Valery Shershen.

He also noted that Ukrainian troops continue to advance in the Melitopol and Berdyan areas. In turn, the enemy is trying to counterattack near the village of Staromayorske in the Donetsk region, which was recently liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "In the Robotyne area, the strengthening of the enemy's defense in manpower, which arrived from Mariupol, has been noticed" - added Shershen.

Cherevaty: the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Bakhmutskyi and Lymano-Kupianskyi are "pressing the enemy"

Serhiy Cherevaty, the spokesman of the Eastern Group of Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, reported the destruction of dozens of invaders and the capture of prisoners in the Bakhmut and Lymano-Kupian directions. In particular, in the Bakhmut region, the defenders continue to hold the initiative, press the enemy, conduct assaults and "regain our land meter by meter." There, during the day, the Russian invaders carried out 498 attacks with various types of weapons and carried out 2 air raids.

At the same time, according to Cherevaty, in the Lyman-Kupian direction, the occupiers are trying to seize the initiative and conduct offensive actions.

"Thanks to the successful actions of our headquarters, commanders, and certainly commanders and servicemen on the ground, these plans of the enemy failed," Cherevaty noted.

A total of 7 combats took place in this direction, during which we managed to destroy 44 occupiers and injure 118, destroy an anti-tank missile complex and three enemy field warehouses with ammunition, as well as the Murom-M surveillance complex, he said.

In addition, in the Lyman-Kupian direction, the enemy attacked Ukrainian positions 480 times from various artillery systems. "In this direction, during this day, 35 occupiers were destroyed, 65 were wounded and 5 were captured. An enemy tank, an armored personnel carrier, and 2 field warehouses with ammunition were also destroyed," Cherevaty said.
