Is Belarus in front of a revolution? Kalinovskyi and Tsykhanovskyi regiments recorded appeals

The commander of the Kalinowski Regiment – the largest of the volunteer Belarusian formations fighting on the side of Ukraine – called for an armed uprising against the regime of Alyaksandr Lukashenko. — This is the beginning of the end of the great tyranny – said Dzianis “Kit” in a speech to the Belarusian nation. The soldiers want to take advantage of the Wagner Group's march on Moscow.

The official channel of the Kalinowski regiment published a recording with Dzianis pseud. “Kit” on Saturday before 16 Polish time. The commander of the volunteers called on the Belarusians to create local units that would take part in the “liberation of Belarus”.

He stressed that the march of Yevgeny Prigozhin and his mercenaries to Moscow was “the beginning of the end of a great tyranny.”

— I am appealing to all Belarusian soldiers. Do not get involved in the internal conflict in Russia. This civil war does not concern us. Belarusians have a different goal. The time is approaching when you will have a choice: carry out the order of the thieves or stick to the oath of allegiance to the Belarusian nation, “Kit” said, quoted by the Belsat station. He added that he had “reserves” in Belarus for Kalinowski's regiment, which were ready to “liberate the country from dictatorship.”

The military noted that Belarus has a reserve that includes active military, reserve military and ordinary citizens who want to liberate Belarus from dictatorship and occupation. For the decisive actions of Kalinovsky's regiment, people are needed, so they call on Belarusians to join the self-defense units. At the same time, residents are asked to prepare to control their territory and maintain order.

Lukashenka is afraid of an assassination attempt

Alyaksandr Lukashenko's fears of Kalinowski's regiment – consisting of both volunteers, soldiers and Belarusian oppositionists – have been growing in recent months. According to the Ukrainian military expert Alexander Kovalenko, the self-proclaimed president of Belarus is in fear of an assassination attempt. 

— Belarusians taking part in the war in Ukraine have something that the entire Belarusian army does not have, real combat experience. And they will be the main supporters of the protests, in opposition to the security forces, Kovalenko said in an interview with the Unian agency at the end of May.
