The 105th anniversary of Poland regaining independence is an opportunity to celebrate in all Polish cities. In addition to the traditional celebrations at Piłsudski Square in Warsaw and the presentation of state awards by the president, the capital is also planning, among others: march of national groups and concert. In the largest cities, field runs, musical events, shows, picnics and holy masses are organized.

Saturday's celebrations on the occasion of the National Independence Day were inaugurated by President Andrzej Duda, who, after 8 laid wreaths in front of the monuments of the Fathers of Independence in Warsaw: Wincenty Witos, Ignacy Jan Paderewski, Ignacy Daszyński, Roman Dmowski, Wojciech Korfanty and Józef Piłsudski. The same place will also be visited by, among others: Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek and Speaker of the Senate Tomasz Grodzki.

KO parliamentarians also announced laying flowers at the monuments of outstanding politicians located in various parts of the city and at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, including Deputy Speaker of the Sejm Małgorzata Kidawa-Błońska and MPs Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska, Czesław Mroczek, Michał Szczerba, Urszula Zielińska, Maciej Lasek and Katarzyna Piekarska.

Some PiS politicians, including: Jarosław Kaczyński, will take part in the celebration of the National Independence Day in Krakow. In the afternoon, after mass in the Wawel Cathedral, politicians, and party supporters will go to a meeting in the hall of the Polish Gymnastic Society "Sokół", where the president of PiS will deliver a speech at approximately 6:30 p.m.

In the morning, the president of PSL, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will take part in the solemn celebration of the National Independence Day at the sanctuary of Our Lady of Gdowska (Lesser Poland Voivodeship, Wieliczka County). After Mass for the homeland - at 10.45 will lay flowers at the Monument of Remembrance in the Market Square. A speech by the president of PSL is scheduled there.

Warsaw: celebrations at Piłsudski Square and concert “Freedom is within us”

At noon, the main celebration of Independence Day will take place at Piłsudski Square with the participation of the President of Poland, the Prime Minister, and the Speakers of the Sejm and Senate. A ceremonial guard dismissal was planned in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. There will also be a national salute with 21 gun salutes, and a speech by the head of state is also expected.

Then, the President of the Republic of Poland, the Speaker of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, the Speaker of the Senate of the Republic of Poland, and the Prime Minister are scheduled to lay wreaths from the Nation on the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.
