In Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region, since the beginning of the full-scale war, the city budget has paid out almost 44 million hryvnias in material assistance to residents of destroyed apartments and private houses. This was reported by Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the City Defense Council.
Thus, after the June 13 attack on the housing sector on Heroiv Street, the ATO paid UAH 14.5 million for 639 claims for damaged property. In particular, the residents of five apartments in the first and second entrances to the five-story building received UAH 3.4 million for the purchase of new apartments. After receiving the documents, the money will be transferred to other dilapidated apartments that have been recognized by experts as not subject to renovation.
In addition, 38 residents of the 3rd and 4th entrances received help with repairs: each apartment - 70,000 UAH. This is also where the documents are prepared by the owners of two more apartments abroad.
The city also provided assistance to 596 residents of nearby affected houses for a total amount of over UAH 9 million.
And in the Central City district, which was hit by a rocket attack on July 31, financial assistance was paid to 525 residents in the total amount of UAH 12 million. 32 residents of the fourth entrance received 40,000 hryvnias each for basic needs. Currently, an expert opinion of the nine-story building is underway, based on which the money will also be paid.
If all the necessary documents are available, payments will be possible in September, the official said.
