The message appeared on the page of Olena Omelchenko-Voshun.

Olena Omelchenko, a shelter volunteer, in difficult times for other cities, always tried to evacuate animals from the war zone whenever possible. However, now our city is under fire. Now the residents of the "Chance for Life" shelter need help.

"I am looking for an opportunity for at least a partial evacuation of the residents of the shelter and I am appealing to Dnipropetrovsk region, to Ukraine, to all of Europe. Protect my animals! About 300 dogs currently live in the shelter. We also have a branch with approximately 100 cats. One direct hit of a projectile into the shelter will be enough to kill most of them," Olena writes.

In this difficult moment, volunteers from Canada came to help. According to Elena, taking the animals to Canada is certainly not an achievable wish. However, volunteers still found an opportunity to be useful.
