The man characterizes his work as follows: "It is something between a sculptor, an artist, a poet...and a doctor. And my weapons are a ladle and a knife."
I wake up in the morning and feed people. I may not even know what the date and time are now. The pace of work is high, sometimes 4-5 hours are left for sleep. I wasn't tired, but I had fun... But in general, I feel energetic and cheerful.
On the first day of the war, Volodymyr was called by the mayor of Brovary and asked to feed 500 people. It turned out that during the next two months, the Chief, together with two cooks, fed the entire brigade. For this, Volodymyr was awarded the "For Merit to the City" award of the Brovary City Council.
"My task is to get up in the morning and feed the boys. Sometimes I don't know what day it is, but I know exactly what time it is, because at 6:30, 1:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. I have to stand and feed the soldiers," Volodymyr says.
