Details of the shelling of the Khmelnytskyi nuclear power plant

On the night of October 25, Russian troops attacked the Khmelnytskyi Oblast using drones. The enemy damaged buildings not only in the city of Slavuta, but also in the city of Netishyn, where the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant is located. This was confirmed by the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ihor Klymenko.

According to him, the explosive wave destroyed the premises of the fire brigade and the police station building in Netiszyn. However, local residents claim that several skyscrapers were also damaged as a result of the shelling – the shock wave broke windows.

“The executive committee, together with the military administration, the State Emergency Service and the police, are working to eliminate the consequences. We are conducting an inspection. If anyone has any damage, please contact the first deputy of the Netiszyn city council"

wrote the mayor of the city, Oleksandr Suprunyuk.

"The house shook incredibly, the nuclear power plant also shook because it is two kilometers from our house"

said one of the residents.

As we wrote earlier, 16 people were injured as a result of the attack on Khmelnytsky. The injured were hospitalized for help.

Can Russia conduct large-scale shelling of Ukraine in winter?

As Andriy Yusov, a representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, explained on a telethon, the Russian army is no longer able to fire more than 100 missiles over Ukraine in one attack, but the danger and some risk still remain. According to him, the occupiers still produce a number of such missiles. At the same time, the Russian Federation does not have time to replenish the stockpile of missiles it had before a full-scale invasion.
