"We can't allow this." Biden's significant words about Ukraine

We cannot afford to withhold aid to Ukraine, because if Russia then invades Poland, we will be at war, said US President Joe Biden in an interview broadcast on Sunday on CBS. He also said that although Israel must "take on Hamas," occupying the Gaza Strip would be a big mistake.

- Let's imagine what will happen. Let's say we stop (aid), Russia will occupy Ukraine and enter Poland or Belarus. We are then at war.

We, the United States, are at war, Joe Biden said during a taped interview for "60 Minutes" on CBS on Friday. In this way, he justified the need for further assistance to Ukraine in the face of growing resistance from Congress.

- Have you ever heard of an important war in Europe that we weren't drawn into? We don't want this to happen, he added.

Asked whether America is able to help both Ukraine and Israel while maintaining its combat readiness, Biden emphatically assured that it was possible. - We are the United States of America, for God's sake! - he emphasized.
