Energoatom bought gloves and clothing for UAH 10 million for employees of the occupied ZNPP

During the temporary occupation of the nuclear power plant in Zaporizhia, Energoatom purchased gloves for employees for over 7 million UAH. NAEK "Energoatom" also purchased working clothes for almost 3 million hryvnias. This was reported by Yaroslav Zeleznyak. 

During the occupation, the Zaporizhzhia power plant spent 10 million hryvnias from the state budget

The Zaporozhye power plant, being under the occupation of the Russian army, purchased from the state budget rubber-cotton gloves for employees for over 7 million hryvnias. This is evidenced by the data of the Prozorro public procurement system.

ZAES purchased 283,602 pairs of gloves. The purchase price was UAH 7,115,418, which is an average of UAH 25 per pair. However, the offer did not specify the purpose of purchasing the gloves. The delivery date of the goods was met in the period from October 1 to November 21 of a given year.

The contract for the supply of goods was concluded with the company "Union BKP" Sp. z o. o., which won the tender. If you look for information about the company on the Сlarity project portal, you will see that it was founded in 2011, the share capital is 10 thousand hryvnias, the owner is Natalia Zalogina. On the same portal, you can see the completed tenders that have been held since the beginning of the activity of "Prozorro". 

Energoatom NAEC bought workwear for almost UAH 3 million

In particular, a separate branch of the Zaporizhzhia NPP made purchases worth almost UAH 3 million exactly in 2022, when the station was occupied, namely:

UAH 2.7 million for the purchase of workwear (the auction lasted from May 26 to July 13, 2022). The subject of the auction are 1304 jackets, 164 warm overalls, 72 insulated trousers, 1376 pieces of workwear of various types.

Prices for gloves for the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant are overpriced, - Zeleznyak.

According to the member of the Verkhovna Rada, Yaroslav Zeleznyak, the prices of gloves are overpriced by 40-60% compared to market prices. The People's Deputy noted that this manufacturer is the most expensive among other types of gloves.

He also added that in 2021, when ZNPP was not occupied and was working at full capacity, Energoatom purchased 83 000 fewer pairs of gloves.
