At night, the Russians attacked the Kyiv region with rockets. Two people were injured, and 10 houses were damaged by falling fragments of missiles shot down by air defenses, said the governor of the Kyiv region, Ruslan Kravchenko. However, the critical infrastructure was not affected.

Ukrainian forces appear to be closing in on the next line of Russian defenses in southern Ukraine, which may be weaker than the first line but still pose a challenge, the US Institute for War Studies (ISW) assessed in a recent report. The center also noted reports that the Russians had redeployed elements of the elite 76th Airborne Division to the Zaporozhye Oblast in southern Ukraine, previously located near Kreminna in the Luhansk Oblast.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their counter-offensive towards Melitopol, destroying enemy firing points.

Russia concentrates over 100,000 soldiers on the Kupyansk-Lyman axis

Russia has concentrated more than 100,000 soldiers on the Kupyansk-Lyman border – according to the Ilia Yevlash.

According to Yevlash, these troops have intensified shelling and air strikes on Ukrainian positions. 45,000 soldiers are to attack in the direction of Kupyansk and 48,000 towards Lyman.

On Saturday, a British interview in daily analysis described that there is a real possibility that Russia will increase the intensity of its offensive activities on the Kupyansk-Łyman axis in the next two months. The goal will be to move to the west of the Oskol river and create a buffer zone around the Lugansk district.
