During the attack of the Shahed drones on the approach to Kyiv, the air defenses destroyed almost a dozen and a half, the Kyiv military administration reported on Telegram.

The night air alert in Kyiv lasted exactly three hours. It was the 820th air alert for the Ukrainian capital since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

For each of these alarms, the enemy will surely pay! Believe in victory! - said the head of the military administration of Kyiv, Serhiy Popko.

The day before, on Wednesday, there were also drone attacks on the Ukrainian capital. Vitaly Klitschko, Mayor of Kyiv, said the attack was repulsed by anti-aircraft defenses, which shot down the enemy UAVs. There were no casualties.

As a result of the enemy attack on the capital and the fall of drone debris, a non-residential building in the Solomyansky district was damaged and a tree caught fire in the Svyatoshynsky district. There are no dead or injured Klitschko wrote on Telegram.

On the night from Tuesday to Wednesday, Russian forces also attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones. The enemy launched a total of 37 UAVs.

The Ukrainian Air Force recorded the simultaneous launch of several groups of drones. As it turned out later, the Russians attacked from Kursk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and from the occupied Crimea. Most of the drones were directed to the Kyiv and Odessa regions.

The defense forces managed to shoot down 23 enemy drones, of which over Odessa - 11.
