The Russians attacked the center of Kharkiv. The shelling took place on the morning of October 6. This is another attack on Kharkiv that injured civilians. The body of a 10-year-old child was found under the rubble. According to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office, 25 people are currently injured, and one person is dead.

Ihor Terekhov, mayor of Kharkiv, emphasized that Russian missiles fell only on Kharkiv's civilian infrastructure and a residential building. Investigators and criminologists are collecting evidence and documenting another Russian war crime.

One of Kharkiv's residents, in comments for Suspile TV, said that the Russian attack surprised his family earlier in the morning.

- Massacre, the rocket hit our building straight. I jumped into the street without clothes. It hit me, I didn't understand anything, the apartment was a mess, everything was destroyed, he said.
