The Zaporizhzhia NPP continues to operate and produce electricity for the needs of the domestic power system. This became known from a message on the official Energoatom Telegram channel.

It became known that during the shelling, the nitrogen-oxygen station, the combined auxiliary building, and the pumping station for domestic sewage were seriously damaged. The occupiers also fired at the fire station, located outside the territory of the ZNPP and intended to protect it from fires and extinguish them in case of emergency situations at the station.

"Ukrainian personnel of the station continue to work and make every effort to ensure nuclear and radiation safety, as well as eliminate the consequences of damage," - the message reads.

It should be noted that due to the daily shelling of the city of Nikopol, the Russians destroyed about 500 civilian homes, and in general, the Russians fired more than 1,500 rockets from the territory of the nuclear power plant into the city.
