In a recent incident, the Nikopol region in the Dnipro area was subjected to an attack by Russian troops on October 19. Fortunately, there were no reported casualties.

The attack involved heavy artillery and a kamikaze drone and resulted in the destruction of 10 houses, five farm buildings, two cars, a dozen solar panels, and power lines in the area.

Nearly 30 missiles were fired towards the municipalities of Marganetska and Myrivska during the night of October 19.

Centralized water supply was restored in the Nikopol commune, and two wells were drilled in another commune

Residents of the Myriv commune in the Nikopol commune of the Dnipro region have centralized water supply after more than four months of water shortage since the destruction of the Kakhovskaya power plant.

“The municipal network supplies technical water from the Reservoir, which is filtered and disinfected in the waterworks. This is a temporary solution that allows us to wait for drinking water from new waterworks" Yevhen Yevtushenko wrote on Telegram.

Meanwhile, in another commune of the Nikopol Oblast, Marganetskaya, drilling of two more wells has begun, reports the Telegram channel of the Municipal Office.

“After the explosion of the Kakhovskaya power plant, approximately 35,000 inhabitants of the Marganets commune were deprived of centralized water supply. Work began immediately on creating water distribution points and drilling wells. Currently, drilling of two more wells has started in two districts of the city"

we read in the announcement.

It is noted that after drilling the well, two water treatment plants will be installed for the commune's residents. There are currently four of them in different districts.

According to Yevhen Yevtushenko, there is only one commune in the Nikopol Region without centralized water supply - Tomakovskaya. There, it is proposed to temporarily supply technical water to the village before the new water supply system is put into use.
