A mysterious object from Belarus flew to Poland. Unofficial information

According to unofficial information, on a private property near Szczecinek, fragments were found that may come from an object resembling a balloon that came to Poland from Belarus.

Information about finding an alleged military facility also appeared in "Dziennik Elbląski". According to the newspaper, it was located near the village of Jezioro.

The search for a mysterious object that was supposed to come from behind the eastern border has been going on for two days. They involved soldiers of the Territorial Defense Forces. The decision was made by the Operations Commander.

WOT spokesman Major Witold Sura told the Polish Press Agency on Sunday evening that earlier searches in the province Kuyavian-Pomeranian did not bring any results, and the soldiers participating in the action returned to the barracks. Two WOT units, i.e. about a hundred soldiers, were assigned to search operations.

Information about the “appearance of an object in the Polish airspace” coming from Belarus was announced on Twitter on Saturday morning by the Ministry of National Defense. The incident was noted by the Air Operations Center.

The Ministry of Defence, referring to information from the COP, stated at that time that the object was probably an observation balloon. “Radar contact was lost near Rypin” – explained the Ministry of National Defense.

On the same day, the Government Security Center issued a statement in connection with the search for an “air object resembling a balloon”. The alert concerned three voivodeships: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie.

RCB appealed to residents of these regions not to approach the object if found and to immediately notify the police of this fact.

On Sunday, a journalist from Polsat News reached the inhabitants of the village of Kipichy in the province of Mazowieckie, who were supposed to see a falling balloon. A few kilometers from the town, the area was combed by WOT soldiers. In turn, military helicopters were seen near Rypin

— I heard something fell in our forest. A neighbor was sitting at a bus stop at night and saw a burning balloon fall. At first, he thought it was a meteorite – said Mr. Grzegorz. “He stressed that it was around 11:30 p.m.,” he added.

The man does not know whether the neighbor notified the army about the incident. As he reported, the services appeared in the village on Saturday. – There were a lot of uniforms, they entered the forest and the helicopter was flying non-stop – he said.

— They were sitting at the bus stop and the ball fell with fire, it was light, and it was over – said the resident.
