38-year-old metallurgist Ihor Dorogavtsev died as a result of enemy fire in Nikopol

A metallurgist died as a result of enemy shelling that took place in Nikopol on August 11. Ihor Dorogavtsev worked at the NZF as an engineer-programmer of TSOIZ. The 38-year-old man had ambitious plans for his life, which were cut short by an enemy shell. This was reported in the "Nikopol Ferosplavnyi" group.

Ihor Dorogavtsev came to the plant in 2017 and started working at KHKT. He understood that this was far from the limit of his abilities, so he went to study, and in 2019 he transferred to TSOIZ, where he gradually took the position of a software engineer. He loved his profession, always tried to learn something new whenever possible, was extremely goal-oriented, intelligent and sociable, had a good sense of humor. He was respected and loved in the team.

"Ihor was surprisingly responsible and sensitive to his family, he did everything to make his mother, wife and children happy. For his family, he was a reliable pillar and support until an enemy projectile cut off his life...", the message reads.

The NZF team expresses its sincere condolences to the family, friends and colleagues of the deceased. The informant joins the mourning and expresses condolences to all the families of those killed on the night of August 11. Farewell to Ihor Dorogavtsev will take place today, August 12, at 2:00 p.m., in the chapel near the city morgue.
