The police fix the evil spirits of the Russian military against the civilian population of Nikopol and the region

The enemy shelled the Nikopol district with anti-aircraft guns. The police records yet another crime committed by Russian troops against the civilian population. Specialists document the consequences of shelling. This was reported by the press service of the Nikopol district police department.

Tonight, August 7, Russian troops set fire to Marganets and the Chervonogrigorivsk community. So far, we know of one victim in Marganka — a 64-year-old man was provided with medical assistance.

More than 40 private houses and commercial buildings were damaged. The final information on destruction, damage and victims is being clarified. Bomb technicians and law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the events, documenting the consequences of the shelling.

Based on this fact of Russian aggression against the civilian population of the Nikopol district, law enforcement officers opened criminal proceedings under Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
