Russian military shelled Nikopol and Marhanets on the night of February 24. Houses, administrative buildings and educational institutions were damaged. This was reported by the press service of the National Police in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
On the night of February 24, enemy troops opened fire from barrel artillery on Nikopol, which caused the destruction of administrative buildings and territories of three educational institutions, high-rise buildings and private houses. As a result of the blast wave, roofs, walls, windows of buildings, farm buildings, as well as gas and electricity lines were damaged.
Also, in the evening of February 24, the occupiers shelled Marganets with rocket systems of volley fire. More than 12 private houses were destroyed, and one car caught fire. Walls, windows and roofs were damaged in houses, and farm buildings were also damaged. There were no human casualties, but domestic animals were killed and injured.
Law enforcement officers are currently determining the final consequences of these enemy attacks and collecting material evidence of war crimes committed by the aggressor country.
