Russian occupiers use terrorist methods. On August 11, the Russian military shelled Nikopol, the village of Prydniprovske, and the Synelnykiv district. According to these facts, an investigation has been launched. This was reported in the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine. Currently, a pre-trial investigation is being carried out in criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

On the night of August 11, 2022, the armed forces of the Russian Federation, disregarding the norms of international humanitarian law, shelled Nikopol with artillery. As a result of enemy shelling, three townspeople were killed, seven were wounded, including a 13-year-old girl. 3 schools, more than 40 houses, shops, garages and cars were also damaged.

The occupiers also shelled the village of Prydniprovske in the Nikopol district — more than 10 houses, a shop, a dispensary, a stadium and power lines were damaged.

In the Synelniky district, the enemy hit the Velikomykhailiv community. Spouses were injured. Citizens' houses, a kindergarten and a mill were damaged.
