Larisa Shtepa added: if the disease is not detected and treated in time, it can lead to death. Symptoms appear 1-6 weeks after infection. Among them are periodic fever, increased sweating, chills, headache, weakness, muscle pain. Over time, the patient's liver and spleen enlarge, and anemia develops.

The disease is found mainly in people who have been in the countries of Africa, Asia and South America. In general, you can get malaria in 87 countries of the world.
