From September 1, a new program will start in Ukraine: abroad for 200 thousand hryvnias
"Payment" for being born a man in Ukraine. On September 1, the EUTravel program will begin in Ukraine. Thanks to it, conscripts will be able to leave the country. But only for 7 days and for 200 thousand hryvnias. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine. The service will be launched in test mode to check the need.
The Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation developed the project "eTravel". Its purpose is to improve business mobility by granting permission for short-term business trips of entrepreneurs and their employees (no more than 10 people) abroad for up to 7 days with a deposit (guaranteed payment) of 200,000 hryvnias.
The "eTrip" mechanism will be available to users through the Diya portal from September 1. The service "is Travel" will be able to be used by sole proprietorships or legal entities of private ownership that meet the following criteria:
- submitted tax returns on time;
- are not in arrears for payment of EUV;
- pay an average salary of at least 20,000 hryvnias per legal entity or private enterprise.
Under the terms of the project, no more than 10% of the total number of employees, but no more than 10 people, will be able to go on business trips abroad. In advance, the entrepreneur must deposit 200,000 hryvnias as a deposit to his own account. This money will be returned to him after the person who was on a business trip returns to Ukraine.
In case of violation of the terms of the business trip, the deposit will be transferred to the needs of the Ministry of Defense, the company will not be able to issue new permits for employees to travel abroad, and already valid ones will be canceled.
We will remind you that this innovation caused a mixed reaction in society. Even the members of the Verkhovna Rada were outraged. Yes, People's Deputy Maksym Buzhansky harshly criticized this proposal, saying that they would have offered to mortgage their own house in order to be able to go abroad.
